NAPLES AND MARSEILLES {painters palettes in clothing}
Hello Lovelies...
I hope you all had wonderful weekends. I had a great weekend...spending Saturday down at the galleries in Chelsea and yesterday here working and snacking.
While an intense Cobalt blue is big in decor right now (the industry color forecasting group sanctioned it last year as one of the colors to watch), I'm really enjoying the softer, darker, clay-toned blue that a lot of designers are using. It has a sort of ceramic-glaze beauty to it, and it's popping up all over the place, along with other, similarly themed hues. There's a gorgeous, Cezanne-impressionistic variety of color out there, and I'm loving it. In a word...Rich.
These are actually wearable colors-- and they go with just about everything. There's a retro twist, and a nice structure to the way that lots of these colors are being used, and I'm particularly enjoying items that combine these hues in a structural way.
Each of these items can be found at Net-A-Porter.
