Good morning all! I trust your weekends were spent playing gleefully in piles of wrapping paper, surrounded by plates of freshly baked gingerbread and piles of pie. No? Well maybe something equally enjoyable.
I went for a wonderful chilly walk to Rock Plaza yesterday to see the tree, then through Central Park...then a stop off for some badly needed Chinese food on the way home. A perfect way to spend the first day off I have had in about 2 months....business-wise, this Christmas season has been intense!
Anyway, I'm jumping back into some of the work I need to do today in order to wrap up the year...invoicing, accounting, thank-yous, etc. But, I thought I'd mention Katherine Sturgis' wonderfully woven, braided and threaded jewelry and bracelets, which I really love. Somehow, even though they're distressed, romantic, and darkly baroque, I can still see wearing them with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt on a day off. Perfect.
Ohhh...I want the silver and black one.
Glad you had a day off! I attempted to ignore Christmas shopping and then spazzed and ran around the city until ten at night Saturday and Sunday. I just want it to be OVAH.
