HI All.
I have been collecting images of items/campaigns with lettering I like for a while now. I thought I would share some of them here!
Personally, I really love the way the handwritten letters activate these bottles of nail polish, and the way that Bobbi Brown has used hand drawn lettering to get the point across in her Pretty Powerful campaign - wish I had better images of this lovely work from Bobbi Brown, but I didn't get photos of it when it launched this spring in NYC.
Coach has some interesting type treatments in it's new Poppy line - although I'm pretty much against so much logo a go-go, stylewise it looks good.
And last but not least, the Billy Bookcase (the 140 ton MDF killer bookshelf system) by Ikea turned 30 this past year... custom edition graphics above.

OH, and before I forget...
My own versions (depuis 2007!) I'd say they were effective!
I love typography (fonts/letters/words...you name it). These hand drawn letters are awesome...especially the last one:) Thanks for sharing!

Thank you ladies!! I had literally been scouring the web for a big image to use from Bobbi Brown's campaign - there were lots of great posters around NYC when she launched it... but there weren't a lot to see on the web!
I'm happy you liked my little collection. I felt a little weird doing the Coach thing...b/c normally, I don't espouse brand names with BIG logos...but I thought they did a nice job on their new line....even tho it looks just like my "notes" pattern from 3.5 yrs ago. I am in good company. sigh.
xo!

I really do love me some hand-drawn type. The font on the nail polish bottles is near-perfection. But I actually like yours most of all, Susy! Your "cities" change cans are just. so. lovely.

Typographic design is another way to enhance the packaging of a product. Every product you've shared looks fab! Anyone, especially the girls, would love to own one of those! Btw, what did they use in writing those letters on the nail polish bottles? It looks like they used real nail polish! Hmm...
