Great shoes from Eley Kishimoto, a site I found thoroughly wonderful and chock full of information, which was referenced by the wonderful blog Nebo Peklo (which, by the way is featuring some gorgeous new prints and art by it's author Natalie).
Anyway, I love the combination of solidity and feminitnity that these shoes have. The healthy sizing of the straps and the heel and the roomy, yet not chunky toe are great to see together. Not to mention the attention to the buckle style and placement....and the careful stitching and beautiful color combinations, woven. It's interesting...somehow what's speaking to me about these particular shoes is not just the style, but also the quality...something that is sorely lacking in so many goods these days.
Eley Kishimoto also has a blog, which is cool because it's nice to see what goes into running a brand with such a wide scope.
I always love the colour combinations that Eley K use...
Thanks for the mention!

I know...I posted this a while ago, but still...when I look at them my heart (and feet) skip a beat...I love the blue ones. Sadly, here in Boston it's 20 degrees out and the mere thought of wearing them gives me frostbite!
Natalie, you're welcome for the mention! I always love your work and the finds on nebo.
