Someday, I want to commission Lizzie Finn to make me a giant blanket. I absolutely love her jagged yet refined style and talent with typography and shape.
This artist/designer/illustrator uses a really wonderful combination of fabric, thread, and imagery to create beautiful and explorative collages and imagery. For more of her work, definitely check out her website,
I'm a huge lover of the unfinished-- and in her work, thread is left to hang and edges are left frayed...but there's also this really incredible, meticulous quality...it all comes together to produce quite an interesting effect.
Her work is great. Thanks for the link!

Me too! I am a big lover of the unfinished as well and a weakness for fabric and embroidery in whatever form! I love her work and am going to go check out her site!

You're welcome-- yes-- I love how this walks the line between a manufactured and a hand-made look. It's really effective, and I love how it interprets quilting...very fun. xx
