2011 Launches...

Hi Ducks!

A belated happy new year. I've been playing hooky from the internet for the past few weeks. Sometimes, I just need a break, ya know?

That being said, up here are a few of the new styles of greeting cards I'll be launching in a week at Atlanta, San Francisco, and L.A. shows.  I'm kicking it off 2011 with this new series. "Love Notes" are an affordable line of greeting cards with an illustrative twist. There are 12 debut styles - and they'll be around $2.95 each. Up here are 4 of my favorite new motifs! I am totally partial to the bow. Ok. Obsessed with the bow.

These were really fun to design. I had a lot of fun coming up with each concept. I'm excited to see how they do. : )

Hi Justina! Thank you so much for letting me know you like them. I have a sneaking feeling that the glasses are going to be a big seller. When I did the drawing, it started with gray lenses - like sunglasses. But then, I got the idea to make them pink. I love the idea of "looking at the world thru rose colored glasses" and I think it's pertinent for today. I'm also thinking of doing a print of this card - and maybe adding the motif to some other products.
