Yesterday evening, as I walked up 5th Ave to meet a friend here, I saw something disturbing. Tourists snapping photos of the outside of the Gucci store. Normally, I'm not paying attention, but I think I noticed it more because of the flashbulbs going off in the darkness. Specifically, I saw three girls posing in a row in front of the Gucci store, all with bright blue Tiffany bags, proudly held up next to their faces while a supplicant boyfriend snapped away. I'm not going to go into this further, because, well...I don't want you to think I'm a snob.
So this morning, when I came across these wonderful necklaces by Lulu Frost made out of numbers and letters from the Plaza...well... I won't say any more, because I don't want you to think I'm a snob.
But really - I think it would be cool to have ALL the letters of my name. And wear them layered like Mr. T.
Or, just the letters A-OK would be fine, too.
Letters and numbers here and the website is lovely.
I sort of like snobs.
